HONOLULU (KHON2) — As the new school year approaches, the City and County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services (DTS) announced ‘new ways to HOLO’.
DTS announced new buses, bus routes and addressed bicycling and bike safety during a Thursday morning conference at Halawa Aloha Stadium.
The goal is to make transportation easier and more convenient for citizens.
DOH even added the new buses have passenger information video screens and safety technology to alert bus operators for pedestrians.
