Kahuku was voted the top team in the initial Cover2 Hawaii high school football rankings released Monday.
The Red Raiders, who lost 33-7 at Bishop Gorman last week, were a near unanimous No. 1. The Red Raiders will host Konawaena and Waimea in consecutive weeks. Following that, Kahuku will host national power Mater Dei of California on Sept. 14.
