Traffic, parking advisory: Heavier traffic expected near UH Mānoa for Saturday’s Rainbow Warriors game

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Commuters and residents near UH Mānoa should expect heavier traffic on Saturday due to the Rainbow Warriors game against Delaware State at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

The game, starting at 6 p.m., is expected to cause congestion in both directions of the H-1 Freeway, the University Avenue off-ramps, Dole Street and Wai‘alae Avenue from early afternoon.

UH staff and HPD officers will assist traffic before and after the game.

Lower campus parking: Opens at 2 p.m. with pre-purchased spots available from $25. Purchase here.

Upper campus: Opens at 2 p.m. with game day tickets available for $15 (card/mobile wallet only).


Rainbow Warriors open 2024 season against Delaware state

The “Kickoff at the Les” event at Les Murakami Stadium opens at 4 p.m. and will be available to fans with music, entertainment, vendors, food and drink options, as well as a Keiki Zone.
