HECO to halt traffic in Haleiwa

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Electric is advising motorists of utility work coming Monday, May 6, that could impact traffic.

From 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. HECO crew will replace a utility pole and equipment.

The work will close a section of Kahalewai approaching Kamehameha Hwy. and restrict street parking fronting the work zone.


Rolling blackouts come to an end for some Big Island residents

During the overhead conductor work, the makai lane of Kahalewai at Kamehameha Hwy. will be closed and traffic contra-flowed.
