HONOLULU (KHON2) — A catamaran, with 53 individuals aboard, ran aground at Ka’anapali Beach on Tuesday night.
The call was received at 7:15 p.m. and passengers and crew were still aboard when MFD arrived.
MFD found four individuals with injuries. Two were taken to the hospital but their condition was not provided.
According to reports, the crew made several unsuccessful attempts to free the vessel.
The scene was turned over to DLNR.
