‘ĀHIHI-KĪNA’U, Hawaii (KHON2) — Two Maui visitors were found dead in the waters off of the ‘Āhihi-Kīna’u Natural Area Reserve.
Maui Fire Department units responded to a 25-year-old male and 26-year-old female from Washington in distress just after noon on Saturday.
The two bodies were found 100 to 150 yards from the north side of the reserve.
Reports said Jetski 14 located the unresponsive female and took her to shore. JS14 then went back out to locate the male who was with her.
CPR was administered to both victims, but resuscitation efforts proved to be unsuccessful.

Emergency Medical Services pronounced both visitors dead at the scene.
