The merger, which was announced in December, combines daily flights totaling 1,500 to 141 destinations.
What travelers need to know:
Separate websites, reservation systems and loyalty programs will be maintained until later in the process.
HawaiianMiles retain their full value
Miles will be able to be transferred between the two airline loyalty programs in the coming weeks
Hawaii residents will enjoy a new travel program while traveling interisland, including 10% off one booking per quarter and one free checked bag.
