2 hikers airlifted from Koko Head Crater Trail

HONOLULU (KHON2) — At around 1 p.m. Sunday, Honolulu Fire Department got a ‘hiker in distress’ call after a 65-year-old woman reportedly felt sick and was unable to go down the hike.

She was airlifted and received a medical assessment from officials.

According to HFD, soon after, her husband also began having difficulty descending the trail and was airlifted as well.
