3.5-magnitude earthquake rattles Oahu

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A short-lived 3.5-magnitude earthquake rattled Oahu and Molokai on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, the quake happened shortly before 2 p.m. in the Kaiwi Channel between the two islands.

There is no tsunami threat.
