HONOLULU (KHON2) — It’s a big deal to be ranked in Yelp’s top 100 businesses. So, when we found out that five of our local entrepreneurs have been ranked amongst the best of the best, we had to celebrate.
Small businesses play a vital role in shaping our communities, serving as the backbone of local economies and fostering a sense of belonging among residents.
Yelp reports a surge in searches for “local businesses,” reflecting the enthusiasm of communities to support their neighborhood establishments.
To honor Small Business Month, Yelp highlights the top 100 local businesses across various categories, recognizing those that go beyond providing goods or services by adapting to community needs and forging meaningful connections.
The upcoming Local Business Summit on May 8 will showcase the people behind these businesses and their success stories.
Readers are encouraged to explore the list to discover the gems in their own communities, spanning service providers, retailers, food establishments, and more.
The rankings were determined based on factors such as review volume and ratings, with geographic diversity ensured by including only one business per state per category.
All businesses featured were open on Yelp as of March 6, 2024.
