HONOLULU (KHON2) — Kailua Road is closed from Ulukahiki to Uluoa Streets due to downed poles just past Castle Hospital Kailua-bound.
The transportation department said a semi brought down seven poles.
There is no left turn at Castle Junction from Kamehameha Highway to Kalanianaole Highway.
According to HECO’s outage map, 34 customers were also affected in the area.
