KEĀLIA, Kauai (KHON2) — On the morning of Sept. 5, there was a single-vehicle crash in Keālia just after 1:30 a.m., resulting in the death of a man.
The Kauai Police Department identified the man as 37-year-old Yannick Doth, from Puhi.
According to KPD, the man was driving a 2022 Toyota Highlander traveling south on Kūhiō Highway when he lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle crossed the centerline, causing the driver’s body to be ejected against the guardrail, where he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
