HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Aloha Ballroom Company is putting on another great show this weekend, featuring both student and professional performances, inspired by the legendary Soul Train era.
The sold-out showcase is happening on Sunday, June 8. WakeUp2Day’s Chris Latronic went live from their location on Kapiolani Boulevard with a preview and some lessons from owner & founder, Tony Meredith.
Meredith said the showcase will highlight the “intoxicating” and “hypnotic” Soul Train music. Meredith said the dance studio has made a lot of progress in a short amount of time.
“It’s been an amazing year,” Meredith said. “We feel so successful because so many people have come into the studio and we’ve been able to, like, teach them and improve their dancing quality.”
