Approximately 3,000 without power on Big Island

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Nearly 3,000 Hawaiian Electric customers are without power Saturday afternoon, but HECO says the outage is not part of the public Safety Power Shutoff.

HECO announced the outage on social media around 1 p.m.

They said approximately 2,936 customers from Psyck Road to Na Makani Paio Park area are without power.
