“The general nature of the charges are providing false official statements, obstruction of justice, and the production and distribution of child pornography in violation of Articles 107, 131b and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

The Army said the investigation is ongoing.

“We are confident that law enforcement will exhaust all efforts to find Mischa and the likelihood of additional charges is certainly a possibility as the case develops,” said Michelle McCaskill, a spokesperson for the U.S. Army Office of Special Trial Counsel.

Mischa, who is 19-years-old and six months pregnant, was last seen on July 31.

“Shock, disbelief. I mean, he celebrated every milestone and had happiness with a joy, acceptance in the family,” Mischa’s mom, Frances Tapiz-Andrian said. “(Mischa and DJ) were inseparable. They were in love.”

They had no reason to doubt her son-in-law. But she said that changed once he was taken into custody and stopped cooperating.

Tapiz-Andrian told KHON2 that authorities told her there was a lot of forensic evidence found at their home suggesting that nobody would be able to come out of the situation alive.

PFC Johnson remains in pretrial confinement.
