Today, Sept. 20, the Board of Water Supply hosted the sixth annual Imagine a Day Without Water event at the Windward Mall.
An event dedicated to educating guests on the different ways to preserve and protect water, our most valuable resource.
“Each year, we bring this event to a different part of Oʻahu so communities can see the vital role water plays in our lives,” said BWS Manager and Chief Engineer Ernie Lau.
The free, family-friendly event featured a variety of interactive booths, educational activities and prize giveaways.
Attendees learned how to make a rain barrel catchment workshop, compete in the Recycling challenge and much more.
The Board of Water Supply collaborated with more than 20 city, state and community partners to put on this event.
