‘Bows fall against UC Santa Barbara in first game of 2025

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors fell to UC Santa Barbara at home on Thursday 64-61.

Hawaii trailed 31-28 at halftime after the Gauchos made 5 three-pointers.

In the 2nd half, the ‘Bows after trailing by 8, went on a 6-0 run to pull within 2. After that run, the Bows with 3 seconds left pulled within 1 point after Gytis Nemeiksa made a tough contested layup.

But Hawaii unable to take the lead late as they couldn’t tie it up as the buzzer sounded.
