‘Bows remain undefeated with four set win over Princeton

The No. 4 University of Hawai‘i men’s volleyball team remained undefeated in 2025 with a four-set victory of 19th-ranked Princeton on Wednesday night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

The Rainbow Warriors defeated the Tigers 25-20, 25-18, 20-25, and 25-17, improving their record to 5-0 on the season. Princeton fell to 0-2.

The match began with a scare for the home crowd when standout setter Tread Rosenthal collided face-first into teammate Clay Wieter’s shoulder during a diving dig attempt in the first set. Rosenthal left the court with a bloody nose but returned after receiving treatment from trainers, missing no action. He finished the match with 38 assists, two blocks, five digs, and four kills.

As a team, Hawai‘i showcased its dominance from the service line with 16 aces, tied for third most in the program’s rally scoring era.

Kristian Titriyski led UH with 15 kills and five aces, Adrien Route contributed with 12 kills and three aces of his own.

The two teams will face off again on Friday night at the Sheriff Center in a non-televised match as Hawai‘i looks to extend its unbeaten streak.
