With the 2025 season set to begin Friday night, the fourth-ranked University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team gave fans an early look at the squad with a free-admission exhibition match Monday night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
The two-time national champion Rainbow Warriors, who return eight players from last season and welcome 11 newcomers, faced off against British Columbia in a three-set sweep, 25-18, 25-14, 25-19.
The exhibition highlighted the team’s depth and potential for the upcoming season.
Sophomore outside hitter Adrien Roure of France, wearing No. 7, showcased his talent with eight kills. Bulgarian standout Krystian Titryski, No. 10, led all players with 11 kills and added three blocks, establishing himself as an immediate impact player.
Returning all-conference setter, sophomore Tread Rosenthal had 25 assists.
An estimated crowd of 3,500 fans attended the exhibition, which served as a preview for the highly anticipated 2025 campaign.
The Rainbow Warriors will officially open their season with a two-match series against McKendree, starting Friday night and concluding Sunday at SimpliFi Arena.
