Brad Tavares can make UFC history in France

Hawaii’s Brad Tavares will look to etch his name atop the record books Saturday when he meets Robert Bryczek at UFC Fight Night 258 at Accor Arena in Paris, France.

Tavares (21-10) will step into the Octagon for his 27th middleweight bout, the most in UFC divisional history. The Waiakea graduate enters tied with Michael Bisping for most middleweight wins at 16 and can take sole possession of the record with a victory over Poland’s Bryczek (17-6).

Already a fixture in the record books, Tavares owns the most total fight time in UFC middleweight competition at 5 hours, 38 minutes, 35 seconds.

His 14 decision wins are the most in the division and tied with Neil Magny for the most in UFC history across all weight classes.

Saturday’s preliminary card streams on ESPN+ beginning at 6 a.m. HST, with Tavares vs. Bryczek scheduled as the third bout.
