HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man from Calgary, Canada was arrested and charged on the Big Island with first-degree sexual assault of a female minor, the Hawaiʻi Police Department said.
Einreb John Pasuquin Dizon, 21, traveled to Hawaiʻi Island to meet a female minor he had previously interacted with on an online children’s gaming platform, police said.
Dizon allegedly rented a bed-and-breakfast room where he met with the victim, engaging in sexual contact with her, authorities said.
He was arrested on Nov. 1 and charged the following day with first-degree sexual assault, which is a Class A felony.
Dizon is being held on $250,000 bail.
The Hawaii Police Department urges the public to be aware of what their keiki are doing online and who they are interacting with.
