HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Airlines is changing its trans-Pacific network to accommodate more customers in high-demand international and domestic Hawaiʻi markets.
Starting in November, service will be suspended on the routes between Honolulu and Incheon, South Korea, Fukuoka, Japan and Boston.
The aircraft assigned to the suspended routes will be redeployed for flights between Honolulu and Sydney, Australia, Papeete, Tahiti, Los Angeles and Seattle.
Honolulu-Sydney will increase daily weekly flights from Dec. 18 through Jan. 31, two weekly flights from Honolulu to Papeete will start in March, five daily flights between Honolulu and Los Angeles in peak season starting Nov. 21 to Dec. 1 and Dec. 19 to Jan. 6 and four daily flights from Honolulu to Seattle.
Current flight service between Honolulu and South Korea operates five times weekly, Honolulu and Japan three times weekly and Honolulu and Boston four times weekly.

The last Hawaiian flights from Fukuoka and Boston to Honolulu will be on Nov. 19 and from Incheon to Honolulu on Nov. 21. Guests who are impacted will receive reaccommodated alternative flights or receive a refund.
