Congressman Ed Case talks with residents, business owners about cost of living

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Congressman Ed Case wants to meet you. He’s been going around neighborhoods and even hosting tele-talk stories with his constituents about what issues they’re facing.

“I do personal talk stories and, you know, school cafeterias, etc., whenever I can. I do tele-talk stories also, which reach a whole bunch of people and so I’m doing one of them tomorrow night right here in Honolulu, right from my district office. And we’ll call out and reach as many people as we can.”

Case told KHON2 that the biggest issue he’s been hearing from residents is the high cost of living.

“I spoke to many, many small businesses as I went along, from florists to goldsmiths to…small businesses and right across the board. So that was that came through loud and clear. But people are just worried about the basics of life.”
