HONOLULU (KHON2) — Shoppers at Times Supermarket, Don Quijote, and Marukai across the state said they’ve noticed a few disruptions.
“I asked the cashier why they haven’t had their ad for the last few weeks. He said they were having a problem with their inventory control system, so they didn’t really know what they had on the shelves. They were sticking with their ads from, I guess, three weeks ago,” stated Craig Walsh, a customer.
Not only have the ads been down at all three grocery stores, but customers also reported issues with payment systems.
“I come here a lot, and I noticed recently that debit cards just haven’t been working at the self-checkout. I usually have to pay cash after my card isn’t accepted,” said Maxwell Wiemken, a customer.
Those needing to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy had to send their medication elsewhere, according to customers.
KHON2 reached out to Times Supermarket and is waiting for a response.
