Emergency response activated after small plane incident in Kalaeloa

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Emergency crews swiftly responded to an incident involving a small Cessna plane this afternoon at Kalaeloa.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at the Kalaeloa Airport.

According to the Emergency Services Department, they received a report of a Cessna plane that had landed on its nose Friday afternoon.

The pilot, identified as a 75-year-old man, fortunately emerged from the incident unharmed and declined transportation.
