Mom and Dad have an eight-year-old daughter and they take care of Mom’s two younger brothers.

Mom is a lifelong diabetic, struggling with it and other health issues since childhood. In 2018, Mom suffered a hemorrhage with severe bleeding and has had to be on dialysis since because of kidney failure.

In 2020 Mom got COVID, causing severe damage to her lungs, so she also needs to be on oxygen.

The following year, both of Mom’s parents passed away and that’s when they took in her brothers.

Still, Mom and Dad volunteer in their community, even though they have also fallen victim to thefts at their home.

Everyone could use clothing and footwear.

Their eight-year-old daughter would love sandals, dresses, a play make-up set (she likes to play dress-up), a teddy bear and she loves the color blue.

Mom’s 13-year-old brother could use new shoes and would love a new or used XBOX 1 game, a Naruto figure and toys.

Her 16-year-old brother would love LEGO robotics toys and boxing gloves.

Dad could use a new shirt and would love a simple barbeque grill, tongs and cooler so the family can spend more time at the beach or park.

Mom said grocery and gas gift cards would be very helpful, as well as laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and other household items. We think a gift certificate for a pedicure would be a special gift for her.

In the spirit of laulima, our many hands working together, let’s help this family not just get through the holidays but enjoy them too.
