Owners, Timothy and Rose Hurd, joined Wake Up 2Day to share what you can expect about this new breakfast stop.

Rose shared, “We named Loke Aloha Cafe after me and my sister. Loke means Rose in Hawaiian, which is my name and Aloha is my sister’s name. We are a newly locally owned business that specializes in coffees, pastries, Acai bowls, and “croffles.” Our cafe was born out of a passion to bring local and wholesome products to the west side of Oahu. We also work with 2 non-profit organizations Lanakila & Touch a Heart. We were led to partner with them because their mission to the community is to help people who may experience challenges in the work field.”

For viewers who may not know, croffles are their specialty item which combines a croissant and waffle into a guilty pleasure sweet treat. Timothy and Rose add cookie dough, cookie butter, ice cream, and many other delectable toppings to their croffles and other dishes.

Loke Aloha Cafe is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Their croffles are available on Friday and Saturday.

Find them on 94-866 Moloalo St. in Waipahu next to Arby’s.
