HONOLULU (KHON2) — Looking for a fun, family-friendly event this weekend? The Honolulu Night Market is the perfect place to go.
On Saturday, July 19, the night market will run at SALT in our Kakaako from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event is free for the public. Parking for this event will be limited on-site due to street closures.
Over 80 local vendors will be featured, including food, retail, entertainment and more. From keiki to kupuna, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. A fashion show will be featured at 7 p.m. for local brands to strut their stuff.
Explore Hawaiian culture through free activities highlighting the event’s theme, Ho’omau: Celebrating Continuity and Perseverance of Hawaiian Culture.
“The theme of the Honolulu Night Market is ‘Ho’omau,’ which means to persevere, which is exactly what we are doing here,” said Liberty Peralta, senior director of communications and marketing at Hawai’i Public Radio, “HPR is here to serve the people of Hawai’i by informing, inspiring, and connecting our community.”
HPR will host a fun interactive booth called “Modern Voices,” prompting the public to respond from the heart to various questions that will be recorded for a potential future HPR project.

American Savings Bank will sponsor the event for the third time, but has been serving Hawai’i for the past 100 years.
“We really think it’s the best event for us to merge, bringing in the community and us supporting the local businesses,” said Katrina Sabido, local program director for American Savings Bank.
