Four players with Hawaii ties have made the final 12-man roster for the United States men’s volleyball Olympic team ahead of the Summer Games in Paris.
Punahou’s Erik Shoji, a libero, will play in his third Olympic Games with the team. His brother, Kawika, set in two Olympic Games.

Kamehameha alumnus Micah Christenson, a setter, will play in his third Olympics.
Micah Ma’a, a Punahou alumnus, will make his Olympic debut at setter. So too will former University of Hawaii middle blocker Taylor Averill.
Volleyball at the 2024 Summer Olympics is set to take place from July 27 to August 11. The United States has qualified, also the match schedule has yet to be released.
