HONOLULU (KHON2) — Sources tell KHON2 Sports that University of Hawaii athletics director Craig Angelos is not being retained in the job.
UH officials would not give any details on Angelos’ employment and Angelos did not respond to a request for comment. Still, sources say he is holding a staff meeting today, during which an announcement is expected.
Angelos has been in the post since June 2023 and recently helped secure most UH teams a spot in the Mountain West Conference. Angelos was not under a contract as an at-will hire which means he could be let go or leave at any time. Stay with KHON2 for the latest on this developing story.
