The University of Hawaii baseball team closed out a series win with a 2-0 shutout victory over Long Beach State on Sunday afternoon.
Hawaii closes out the weekend 34-16 overall and 17-10 in Big West Conference play, winning its fifth straight conference series in a row.

The Beach exited the weekend 24-27-1 overall, including 9-18 in Big West Conference play.
Hawaii did its scoring with one run each in the first two innings. Jordan Donahue and Matthew Miura each had two hits, while Jake Tsukada and Itsuki Takemoto each had RBIs.
Six pitchers combined to toss a shutout for the Rainbow Warriors. Brayden Marx got the start and win with two innings, while Alex Giroux got the save pitching in the ninth. Giroux returned for one inning on Sunday despite throwing 44 pitches on Friday.
Hawaii will return home for its final series of the 2024 season, a three-game series against Cal State Fullerton that begins at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday at Les Murakami Stadium.
