Hawai‘i joins the DEA in National Prescription Take Back day

HONOLULU (KHON2) – The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This opportunity offers residents a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused or expired medications.

Collection sites include the Hawai‘i State Capitol’s Beretania Street drive-thru, Times Supermarket in Kaimuki’s parking lot, and the Honolulu Police Department’s Pearl City Station.

The event helps prevent prescription drug misuse and promotes community safety.
