University of Hawaii men’s volleyball outside hitter Keoni Thiim announced on his personal Instagram page on Monday that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal.
“Hi everyone. This is my official announcement that I will be entering the transfer portal today,” Thiim wrote. “God has blessed me with this opportunity and of course I will inform the people of my reasons behind the matter. Until then God bless you all.”

Thiim, the grandson of former UH head coach Mike Wilton, joined the program prior to the 2022 season.
Used primarily as a serving specialist in 2022 and 2023, Thiim saw his role increase in 2024, appearing in a total of 103 sets, tied for second most on the team.
Thiim, who totaled 162 kills, 40 service aces and 67 service errors, has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
