Hawaii Theatre: Upcoming benefit performances will take center stage

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Mark your calendars for this upcoming event that plans to raise the roof and raise donations for this Honolulu landmark.

On Sept. 3 and Sept. 4, critically acclaimed actor and comedian Ronny Chieng is taking center stage at the Hawaii Theatre.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Hawaii Theatre, which has been providing world-class entertainment for the past 100 years.

The money raised from this event will go towards preserving the theater, so it can continue to provide diverse entertainment for the next 100 years.

The Theatre will also focus its donations towards resuming its children’s educational programs, which have worked with 10,000 keiki each year.

The benefit performances begin with a Century of Inspiration Soirée. Hawaii Center Theatre is rolling out the red carpet to make everyone who attends this exclusive fundraising event feel like a star.
