HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Fire Department extinguished an early morning building fire in Wahiawa on Nov. 3.
The fire was first reported at approximately 1:26 a.m. at a commercial building on California Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they found a fire at a building that was reported to house a Department of Education office, HFD said.
HFD extinguished the fire at 2:27 a.m., officials said. No occupants were inside the structure during the blaze according to first responders.
An investigation has been opened to determine the cause and origin of the blaze, as well as to provide damage estimates.
