Owners and Coordinators Kamea and Jessica Wong joined Wake Up 2Day to tell us all about it.

“Kakoo Hawaii is a vendor-friendly market so we’re very conscious of our vendors and our families. We want to support small, local businesses and provide them opportunities to sell their goods, to resource, to network,” said Kamea Wong.

“Our event is held annually on Black Friday. So this year it’s at Sangha Hall on the 29th and 30th in Hilo. Friday, it will be from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. And on Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. So come early because last year we had a huge crowd,” said Jessica Wong. “I would say try to come with a friend and carpool. Parking is limited but we do have, there’s a section in Bay Front Hilo, you can park in the soccer fields and walk to the event.”
