Hawaiʻi Marine Animal Response has crowned their winner of the annual Chunky Seal Week, Aukai.
The Hawaiian monk seal has given birth to at least four pups, and is known for her independent nature. Aukai, which means “explorer of the sea,” enjoys traveling around the island, without favoring one side.
