HONOLULU (KHON2) — After a two-week stay on Kauai, the voyaging canoe Hokulea is set to depart from Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor today and head back to Oahu.
The vessel is expected to reach Haleiwa by Saturday morning, weather permitting.
While in Haleiwa, Hokulea’s crew will offer tours to schools and the public until Friday.
However, due to potential adverse weather conditions, the public is advised to monitor Hokulea’s social media channels for the latest updates.
