HONOLULU (KHON2) — Kahala Hotel and Resort is offering a new Sunday Brunch and an extensive Summer Event Schedule.
Executive Sous Chef, Joseph Almoguera, and Food and Beverage Director, Christina Maffei, joined us with all the details. Every Sunday, enjoy the finest buffet with items such as: Potato Mac Salad, Poi, Hawaiian Style Poke, Kim Chee Tako Poke, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Signature Misoyaki Butterfish, Lau lau, Kalua pig, Chicken Long Rice, Pipikaula, Haupia, Coconut cake, Pineapple upside-down cake and Lilikoi Tapioca.

DuMOL Wine Dinner (Huaka’i Wine Series)
5:30 p.m. at Hoku’s on Wednesday, May 22. It’s $295 per person.

Join DuMOL winery and special guest Michele Martindale. Executive chef Johnathan Mizukami has created a special tasting menu paired with wines from DuMOL coming from the finest vineyards in Napa and Sonoma.
A reception will be held in Hoku’s beginning at 5:30 PM featuring DuMol Wester Reach Chardonnay and passed pupus, followed by a coursed wine pairing dinner at 6:00 PM highlighting some of the winery’s most prestigious selections.
Gaja Wine Dinner (Huaka’i Wine Series)
5:30 p.m. at Hoku’s on Friday, June 28. It’s $298 per person.
Join Master Sommelier Patrick Okubo celebrating wines from Gaja, one of the most famous and prestigious Italian producers, known for being the first to produce single vineyard wines in Piedmont and revolutionizing winemaking in Italy.
Executive chef Johnathan Mizukami has created a special tasting menu paired with these exquisite wines. Reception will be held in Hoku’s at 5:30PM with wine and pupu. Coursed wine pairing dinner will be at 6:00PM highlighting some of the winery’s most sought after selections.
KISCA Music Event with Mike Kaawa
6:30 p.m. at Plumeria Beach House on Wednesday, May 22. It’s $68 per adult & $45 per child (6-12).
Sit back and relax to Hawaiian music with one of Hawai’i’s finest 12-string guitar players at the Plumeria Beach House. Enjoy delicious Hawaiian dishes from our Pāʻina Buffet as you listen to Mike Kaawa’s riveting performance near the ocean. This performance is brought to you by The Kahala Initiative for Sustainability, Culture and the Arts (KISCA).
