KAHALA, Hawaii (KHON2) — A home in Kahala has set the record for the most expensive residential property ever publicly recorded in Hawaii and it sold for $65.75 million.
Coldwell Banker Island Properties sealed the deal on Friday, March 14 for the prestigious Honolulu estate, Hale Hanohano, also known as the “House of Honor.”
The property was initially built in 2018 and features three separate residents along 213 feet of prime oceanfront along the Kahala Beach coastline.
It also has an Olympic-sized pool, a spa and tropical gardens.
“Hale Hanohano represents the pinnacle of oceanfront living, and we’re proud to have connected the right buyer with this exceptional home,” said listing agent Derek Kamm of Coldwell Banker Island Properties.
The buyer of the estate was not revealed.
