Officials said each finalist was given a key, but only one unlocked the Tacoma.

Kailua’s Austin Kehrer, who has been a CPB customer for more than 15 years, proved to be the luckiest of them all and possessed the key to his new vehicle.

“It’s life-changing for me. I have a new baby on the way within a month and I’m driving around a real beater right now and this truck has everything, even baby anchors for the car seat, so that’s the biggest thing that it’s a safer car,” said grand prize winner Kehrer.

Officials said all remaining finalists received $1,000 for their efforts.

CPB began its Go Contactless! campaign in late April, which concluded on June 28. The bank awarded weekly winners with various prizes, totaling more than $8,000 in value.
