HONOLULU (KHON2) – Kaimuki High School Performing Arts Center is back again with its fifth annual Halloween haunted house, and this year’s theme is Theatre of Terrors: Murder Hotel.
Tickets are $20 and the Haunted House runs from Oct. 25 to 30 at the Kaimuki High School Auditorium.
Inside the “Murder Hotel,” guests will walk through spooky hallways, creepy hotel rooms, and dark corridors, but this isn’t just about jump scares. Visitors will also have the opportunity to play detective and try to figure out who the “killer” is before the night is over.
The hours of operation:
- Oct. 25 to 26: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Oct. 27 to 28: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 29 to 30: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This is the 5th year for the Performing Arts Center to turn its stage into a full-on Haunted House. Students have designed the rooms, act out the scares, and bring the entire show to life with the help of teachers and alumni.
For those who are ready for this Halloween season, KHSPAC is also offering sponsored tickets. When you buy one, it is donated to a student who might not be able to attend.
The Haunted House is recommended for ages 12 and up, since it uses strong lights and scary effects.
Every year, KHSPAC offers students across Oʻahu the opportunity to learn acting, music, dance, and stage technology for free.
The Haunted House is just one of the many productions they put on to showcase student talent and bring the community together.
