KOKEE, Hawaii (KHON2) — Kauai fire officials are responding to Kauai’s third brush fire of the week, this time in Kokee.
County officials have closed Kokee Road between Kekaha Road and Waimea Canyon Drive.
Multiple units are responding. As of now, no evacuation orders have been issued.
In an update, Kauai County said ground crews are expected to remain on the scene of the fire through the night.
Officials urge the public to remain vigilant.
