MAUI, Hawaii (KHON2) — A blind dog at the Maui Humane Society who was at risk of euthanasia has been adopted.
Kruz, an eight-year-old blind dog at the MHS, needed to find a home before Aug. 11 or else he would have been put down.
Luckily, the shelter shared that the Kruz has found a brand new owner and is setting off on a new life with a new loving ʻohana.

Kruz was one of 20 dogs that arrived at the MHS in April from a dog hoarding situation.
Despite his rough start, Kruz has maintained his sweet, calm personality throughout the hardship.
