Festival-goers got an exclusive first look as Alexis Akiona joined KHON2’s Brittni Friedlander to share the inspiration behind the designs. From breezy resort wear to statement pieces for special occasions, each look reflects the brand’s mission to celebrate heritage while empowering women to wear their culture with confidence.
The Made in Hawai‘i Festival served as the perfect backdrop for the launch, highlighting local artistry and craftsmanship. The 2025 Made in Hawai‘i Festival will take place Friday, August 15, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, August 16, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, August 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
