Man found dead with multiple stab wounds near airport, murder investigation opened

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Department of Law Enforcement has opened a murder investigation after a man was found dead with multiple stab wounds around the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Sunday morning.

Honolulu Police Department said a sheriff deputy found the man just before 7 a.m. Officials added the man was pronounced dead at 7:16 a.m.

At this time, the suspect is still unknown.

Assistance from HPD’s Homicide Detail and Scientific Investigation Section was also requested to process the scene.
