HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man, who has helped many, works two jobs and has been his mother’s caregiver.
He does much for his community such as feeding the homeless, coordinates toy drives, volunteers where and when needed and plans events for the pubic housing areas in his neighborhood.
He often uses his own money to accomplish some of this.
Earlier this year, his mother suffered a stroke. Then, the money that was supposed to be used to pay her medical bills was “stolen” by a family member and never fully recovered.
His mother is now in a government-assisted care home. He visits her regularly and takes her out, all while still giving back to his community.
He is now struggling financially and could use some help. Gas and store gift cards would be greatly appreciated too.
In the spirit of laulima, our many hands working together, let’s help this man who does so much for his mom and for others this holiday season.
