Pagampao, who has 11 home runs in 2024, is signed to play collegiately for Hawaii Pacific.
“I think I was just seeing the ball really well that night and I just tried to stay calm and do everything I can to get my team ahead and just try my best to help out,” Pagampao said. “I felt awesome, just having the energy of being there for my team so that they can have their energy up and just having fun.”
The state tournament runs from May 14-17, where the Trojans will be a top four seed by virtue of winning the OIA.
“It’s really meaningful to all of our seniors,” Pagampao said. “We want to go out with a bang and do everything we can to get that title and just win it all.”
