Expect a partly to mostly cloudy evening with cirrus clouds from distant thunderstorms to the south moving in over the western half of the state. Lower-level rainclouds are coming in from the east riding on the trade winds.
This week, a large area of high pressure is the main weather-maker in the Central Pacific. Mid to upper-level high pressure will bring clearer skies and a drier weather pattern. Brief showers may still move into windward areas and higher elevations, especially at night.
