HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Maui Police Department is conducting an investigation that has led to road closures and evacuations in the Wailuku area on Maui.
The following road closures are in place:
Mill Street is closed from Lower Main to Imi Kala
Imi Kala is closed from Mill Street to Eha Street
Eha Street is closed from Imi Kala to Iao Loop
Halewili Street, Alako Street, Ono Street, Ea Street, Wili Place, and Mill Street between Imi Kala and Lower Main residents were evacuated.
These are the additional evacuation areas, according to Maui officials:

Koene Place
Lauala Street
Kopili Street
Kowali Place
Kopiko Street
Ainahou Place
Lauae Place
